
So much of what we eat is produced
on a massive scale with a long and complicated list of ingredients
so we have sourced the products included in our hampers from small,
local independent producers and suppliers on the Isle of Wight.
Our suppliers have a passion about what they do and try to use only
natural ingredients and where possible ingredients locally grown
or produced.
Red, White, Rose and sparkling wine is produced
at Adgestone Vineyard, one of the oldest
vineyards in the country. Set on a south facing slope in 10 acres
of outstanding natural beauty the vineyard supplies many top hotels
and the Palace of Westminster.
Billies homemade cakes are made using the best quality local ingredients.
Award winning Calbourne Classics provide
us with delicious homemade cakes, tea breads and chocolate brownies.Their
Sunshine fruit cake is a traditional light moist fruit cake enhanced
with tasty pineapple and healthy apricots. The Date and Cherry tea
bread is a sweet and tasty tea bread delicious spread with butter
while the traditional chocolate brownies combine chocolate and walnuts
to create a sumptuous flavour and texture.
Ericas Homemade Marmalades, conserves and
chutneys are made at Horringford using the finest and freshest Island
produce and other carefully selected natural ingredients only. They
guarantee the only additives are love and dedication!
The Garlic Farm is
the home of the Isle of Wight's massive garlic production, which,
as well as garlic, produces a range of wonderful garlic inspired
foods. Their garlic, apricot and ginger chutney goes well with pies
and cold meats, and is a must for serving with cheese. Garlic Honey
is great for basting roast meats and vegetables. Love Garlic is
pickled garlic cloves in sweet muscat wine - pink and potent. Their Confit de Tomato Fumes is ideal with pasta.
Goddards Brewery brews a selection of award winning beers on the Island.
The Godshill Cider Co.
produces its cider from locally grown apples. The vinegar is made
from their cider in the traditional way while their oils are filled
by hand with spices and Island grown Herbs.
Island Biscuits bake
a range of whole food sweet and rye biscuits based on traditional
Island recipes. The farmhouse ryes are a superior savoury biscuit
made from wholemeal rye flour and are ideal to enhance the flavour
of fine cheese. The original shortbread is baked with locally produced
butter and contains no artificial flavours or colours just taste
and the walnut cookies are strong in flavour due to generosity with
the walnuts.
Island Maid use the finest organic ingredients to make their pasta. The wheat is organically grown, milled and made into pasta on the Isle of Wight.
Island Mustards make
a range of quality handmade mustards with many from Victorian recipes.
The garlic mustard is great with steak, the wholegrain mustard is
good, hot and grainy, the Wight wine mustard is made with Isle of
wight wine (of course) while with the chilli mustard the heat creeps
up on you! Hellish Relish is one of their best sellers and is made with red and green peppers and lots of chillis! A victorian recipe is used to make their Apple Chutney which is a spicy partner for cheese.

Island Tea & Coffee Co. from the finest
Kenyan Teas.
The Isle of Wight Cheese Company produces award winning cheese. Its Isle of Wight Blue took the Fortnum and Mason trophy for best English Cheese 2007.
Rosemary Vineyard is
one of the largest vineyards in the UK and Conrad Gauntlett and
his team produce a wide variety of wines here.
Rossiters Vineyard is located in the West Wight and produces a selection of wines. All of their wines included in our hampers have acheived Isle of Wight regional wine status.
Pure 'Cox & Bramley' apple juice from Sharon
Orchard is pressed in the traditional way.
Pure Isle of wight honey comes from bees kept by Terry Willis.
The handmade chocolate truffles from Three IOW Chocolatiers are freshly made in a selection of wonderful flavours.
